5 Ways to Make The Most of Your Irrepressible Experience

We’re so happy to be sharing this amazing program of music with our community after so many months of silence during the pandemic. In preparation for the upcoming concert, here are…

5 things you can do to make the most of your Lakeview Orchestra experience:

1. COVID-19 Stuff

Patrons are required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test upon arrival at all performances, and all patrons are required to wear a mask at all times, except when actively eating and drinking. Please make sure you bring your proof of vaccination or negative test, a photo ID, and your mask with you to the performance.

2. Think Drinks

Sip Along to the Symphony

Did you know you can bring your drink to your seat and sip along to the symphony? Not only that, but a number of local bars and restaurants actually offer discounts for Lakeview Orchestra ticket-holders on the day of our performances. Check out the list of participating restaurants and make your pre- or post-concert reservations today!

3. Charge Your Phone

We’ve Gone Digital

Lakeview Orchestra is not your typical, stuffy orchestra experience… you know, where a crazed usher chases you down for taking a photo during the concert or Googling how to pronounce concerto (it’s “con-chair-toe”, by the way).

Instead, we encourage patrons to use their mobile devices during the concert while seated in The Phone Zone (the last five rows of the Main Floor and Upper Balcony). From there, you’re welcome to take photos, post on social media, and peruse our digital concert program.

4. Read, Watch, and Listen

We’re happy to share program notes, artist interviews, and even a Spotify playlist of the concert program before the show so you can learn as much (or as little) as you’d like ahead of time.

5. First Time? Read This.

What Do I Wear, When Do I Clap, and Why is the Timpanist Smelling His Drums?

We want to make sure people who are newer to classical music (and symphony veterans, too!) have a fantastic experience at our concerts. Check out our Symphony 101: A Guide for New and Returning Concertgoers!
