Biography
Michelle Pranger (she/her) is an arts administrator, trumpet player, and teacher based in Chicago, IL. She holds a master’s degree in trumpet performance and chamber music from the University of Michigan and bachelor’s degrees in trumpet performance and economics from Illinois Wesleyan University. In addition to working with Lakeview Orchestra, she is the Operations Manager and Trumpet Instructor at The Musical Offering in Evanston, IL.

In addition to her administrative and teaching roles, Michelle is an active trumpet player in Chicago. She has performed with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, South Bend Symphony Orchestra, Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, Chicago Composers Orchestra, Michigan Chamber Players, and is a substitute musician for Lyric Opera of Chicago. Her primary teachers include Bill Campbell, Jennifer Brown, Brian Reichenbach, Leah Schumann, and Steve Eggleston.
