About Vindhya
Vindhya Rao started playing the violin at the Naperville Suzuki School/ Western Springs School of Talent Education when she was 6 years old. She continued playing through college in the University of Illinois Philharmonic (I-L-L!) and though she had to take a break for medical school, the violin was and always will be her first love. She currently resides in Lakeview where she is a family medicine resident. Vindhya was overjoyed to be able to find and then join the Lakeview Orchestra, especially when she found out that Tchaikovsky 4 is on the roster for later this year! In her free time you can find her at Orangetheory or aggressively volunteering to dog sit her friends' pups.
